The day in question, I was I hired by a well known marketer to assess why his offer wasn’t converting.
He had just coughed up $25,000 for a video sales letter and some of the best copy I had ever read. (I could barely contain my laughter)
He assured me that if I could re engineer his sales letter and make his offer convert he would pay me $5000 plus a residual which could add up to another 100k.
I had a problem…
Here was a well produced VSL supported by masterfully written and engaging copy which in my opinion should have financed his next Bentley.. (No, not that guy)
But it flopped and at first glance, I had no idea why.
